The public ocean beach is 2.5 miles away, convenient to the center of Amagansett, and food concessions right on the sand. Restrooms make it possible to stay all day. Lifeguards are on duty daily 10-5 from Memorial Day through Labor Day. An East Hampton parking permit is required on weekends and holidays, but during the week you can pay to park without a permit.

Less than a half mile away, walk down to this great bay beach for familes or quiet with plenty of space. Restrooms make it possible to stay all day. Lifeguards are not on duty, but the water is very calm. Real quiet beach with a salt water
stream to chase minnows. Grills and picnic tables allow you to grill while watching a beautiful sunset over Fresh Pond.
